How the grade is calculated
Before the A–F curve above is applied, each collector gets a composite score from four CFPB-derived signals: complaint volume relative to size, the 12-month complaint trend, the timely-response rate, and the consumer-dispute rate. It's PlainCollector's own transparent derived index, not an official CFPB rating, the CFPB does not assign scores or letter grades.
